ConsoleI have an fx-6300 that can push 300 frames
300 frames when nothing is happening is irrelevant. My 8350 machine can have drops into the 80s on particularly badly optimized maps during mid fights or pubs when SHTF.

AMD's Zen CPUs are coming out Jan 17 on the new AM4 socket. Just wait or buy a i3 6100 if you only care about TF2.
A fx-8320 will run TF2 with a average well over 120 fps but there will be frame dips thanks to TF2s poor optimization, multithreading, and gpu utilization.

Best FPS CFG currently?

yttriumThis. In fact it's a pretty big deal but not widely known - most FPS configs out there help your sheer frames per second, but they often mess up frame times, so even if you've got a high FPS value, it'll feel choppy.
Does anyone know what commands cause this?

PajamaSamDon't get me wrong, I love tf2, but I honstly hate the competitive community. Everyone is so mean and ugly to each other. No one treats other people like people should be treated. I think part of the reason comp is dying is because of how toxic the players are, and instead of trying to fix it, people just continue to spew hate at each other and wonder why no one plays this game. It's sad to see a community tear its self apart like this. Why can't we just play games and have fun? :(
Grow thicker skin m8.
Literally every other competitive comunity i have dabbled in was more toxic than TF2's.

SetsulYeah 98°C is too high.
I'll be honest, TF2 doesn't need a lot of GPU power and if you don't care about fps in other games then you could just fix your temps.
The 6570 is bit slower than a ancient HD 4750. TF2 is CPU limited but not to that extent. A more modern GPU would also allow you to use GPU encoding for streaming significantly increasing FPS..

NurseyDoes anyone actually mind the new casual system? I'd like to see auto-balance make a return + being able to join off a friend in the middle of a game, but other than those two gripes I enjoy this new system much more.
The ability to join the other team and more continuity (automatically keeps the teams if they are evenish) would be nice.
