Every time I run the installer, it crashes. Any fix?

Hi,
I'm playing on 1280 x 1024 resolution. I do not see my in game stats on the scoreboard. Is that normal?

I tried copying the '4_by_3_ratio' folder into my 'ui' folder, but i didn't have a folder names 'ui' in the resource folder. So I made one. The scoreboard still doesn't look right.

What should I do?
