for one, the gotcha doesnt really apply in a thread where you have people who are trying to find deals/save money being yelled at by virtue signalers. the main point of my post is criticizing the people who are upset/shitting on people who are just trying to save money. Its perfectly fine to boycott if you personally dont want to feel like youre supporting amazon, but dont try to play the holier than thou argument and come into a thread about deals and shitposting all over it. i only brought up the contradictions because people in here are acting like buying shit on sale is evil, and not buying shit on sale while loudly proclaiming that the company is evil makes them champions of the working class.

im sorry i agree that how amazon treats their workers is disgusting but its not my responsibility as a consumer to change that, if i need or want something and i see that the best deal for that thing is on amazon im going to buy it.
