funhaver1998From today's research, I learned that there are even some 240hz better than 360hz and 500hz even if you reach that FPS, so maybe that's why you feel that way Funky. Sort of depends on what monitor you are having and then its about the whole package of that monitor
For example, some monitors have features like Dyac or better response time. I haven't finished learning all about it, but I think that the 240hz ones are actually better than some of the 500hz ones.
I think from what I've seen, the newer 240hz OLED panels (they are costing 1k) are even beating the 360hz benq for example
Asus rog swift pg27aqdm for example
But if you're looking for a monitor this year, you might want to hold off for better panels in the upcoming months

TobThere's more options moving your bed around, but these are 2 main ideas that are likely practical with the context you've given so far. Obv I'd go with option 2 in the album. option 1 will not help the prison cell feeling

I like the idea of the shelves and small lights from Option 2, I will look into incorporating those in the future.
The main design that's been suggested to me that I like the most is a loft bed above the closet door - but I'm thinking of having the bed above Harry Potter. That door is only 1.8m in height, which gives me plenty of leg room and head height to sleep up there. Plus it ensures I don't have my legs near the off-centered light bulb:
