mana2. Game of Throws 5-0'd us. I don't know if it's because they're really gearing up for the season but they played pretty impressively against us (could've been us being bad that scrim but nonetheless). http://sizzlingstats.com/stats/65531 The real standout besides smi|e, obviously, is battery, who knows how to play around that combo. He had less than 1/4th (!) of the heals that smi|e had but still dealt 7059 damage to smi|e's 8936. His pipes are solid connects.

(sizzling stats is so ugly... http://logs.tf/89355) our demo only had 13% heals because he was constantly buffed and wasn't ever really taking damage, he only had 6 deaths

this guy's the greatest. strong on every class (except med don't make him play med what a mistake) and good offclasser for sniper/spy when you need it.

why are you putting in teams that haven't paid and leaving out teams that did pay? Fried Broccoli has a bye for the first round? Also, do you have enough servers to support all these match ups jw cos I have one available if needed otherwise this tourny is gonna go until 3am

edit- a lot of these will probably be no shows/forfeits since half these teams probably forgot they signed up for this a month ago... xD

sherman_gluckthis is like bronze league players in SC2 arguing about balance and that certain races are overpowered.

if the issue with quickfix is heavy, then ban heavy. why is that suggestion never offered?

because tf2 has been played with heavy since its inception pretty much and quick fix which got buffed 3 weeks ago has effectively ruined an entire lan. logic-- if it ain't broken don't fix it. why try messing with the system again when we already know what works

AllealQuindalithen it is literally not the quick fix anymore. valve is not going to nerf a weapon that they just buffed this extremely. the only solution and the BEST and EASIEST solution is to just fucking ban it and hope i49 can salvage comp tf2
It was the quick fix before they added all of that why wouldn't it be the quick fix after they take it away too? If you haven't noticed Valve has taken a bit of an interest in competitive players opinions on weapon balance. And if you expected every change to be perfect the first time you're crazy. Everyone loved the quick fix until heavy became involved. It's worth the effort to get it fixed.

Sometimes I think the average players perception of competitive tf2 is incredibly unfair and then I'm reminded why it's not.

right and no one used the quick fix before. nerfing it to its old standards would make it undesirable again. banning it is the faster more effective solution-- why waste time trying to lobby valve to consider our opinion and force a change when we can control comp meta and maintain a certain standard by implementing league bans
