Do a lot of pugs and make a looking post. You can ask people in pugs to drop a few good words for you in your thread to help you out.

#12 TF2 Sound in OBS? in TF2 General Discussion
jp_-Is the headphone plugged into the front panel port or directly to the card?
-What driver are using? Asus or Uni drivers?
-Are there any other audio devices in Playback Devices?
-Try disabling Exclusive mode, go to your speaker properties via playback devices and check the advanced tab.
-If you have an integrated sound card, you should have it disabled via bios/firmware.

Please answer the questions.......Not just the top most one.

The headphones are plugged directly into the card.

I am using the ASUS drivers(however I might try Uni and see if it works, I used to use it before I re-installed Windows).

There are more audio devices such as my monitor's headphone output, and my onboard audio, all of which are disabled.

Disabling exclusive mode doesn't fix it.

I have my integrated sound disabled through the sound options, but not through bios/firmware, and I doubt other people have to do this in order for their audio to function properly on stream.

#9 TF2 Sound in OBS? in TF2 General Discussion
Stochast1cNeither of these are great options. For the $30 range the best performing USB DAC is the Behringer UCA202: http://www.amazon.com/Behringer-UCA202-Audio-Interface/dp/B000KW2YEI

No idea if a usb dac will fix your problems though.

Do you have personal experience with this? If you use it yourself, you should be able to see in your Windows Sound Mixer(like I showed in the picture above) and see if Team Fortress 2 is listed. If it is, then this will work.

AndKennethProwerIf I can get a good sounding usb card for 20-30 bucks I would gladly take it if it would fix this problem.
A little more expensive than I thought, but here it is for 40.
http://shop.steelseries.com/us/audio/steelseries-siberia-usb-soundcard.html

There's another one from creative if you want some choice. I can't find the non pro version in the US but in aussie it's 30 bucks.

I can't find any reviews of the steelseries soundcard, outside from reviews about the headset, so I'm not sure if I'm going to go with it. The creative one sounds solid, but I'll keep an eye out for other options.

AndKennethThere's always the possibility of using a USB sound card if yours doesn't support certain ways of sound works.
ToastyTHTI suggest updating your sound card driver.
Definatly try this first, but I know steelseries sells a usb sound card for like 20-30 bucks.

I have my sound card driver updated. If I can get a good sounding usb card for 20-30 bucks I would gladly take it if it would fix this problem.

jp_Are you using a USB headset?
What sound devices are listed when you view "Playback Devices"

I am using 3.5mm headphones and a usb microphone. The headphones are plugged into the sound card and I can hear it, but when I record from my sound card's output, there is no game sound.

TF2 doesn't show up on my sound card output, thus it doesn't work on stream. I can stream youtube video audio and my steam overlay beeps, but tf2 doesn't make any sound.

I used to be able to get it to work with my Blue Yeti mic, but I don't use that anymore so I'm limited in my options.

I can get TF2 sound through my Wave input, but that would take place of my microphone since OBS allows for only one output and one input. On Dxtory, I can use both my mic and Wave due to how Dxtory works, but not with OBS.

You can force Ambient Occlusion in Nvidia Inspector, but it isn't optimized so expect a massive frame drop from it. Looks nice in videos though.

#12 Sky- TF2 Frag Clip **FEEDBACK MUCH APPRECIATED** in TF2 General Discussion
BubbaI use lawena and srcdemo2, recording @450FPS. yea i think thats why it is choppy, but i dont know how to fix it. And, space on my drive is not the most plentiful thing... :(

Why are you recording in 1080p if you are tight on hard drive space? Also, you encoded it poorly so it doesn't even look great at 1080p so its really a waste of file space. Go back down to 720p.

Set framerates to 900FPS and 60 FPS if you want to slow down 50%, or 1800FPS and 120FPS for 25%. Since you are recording with SrcDemo2, you should have more than enough file space, especially if you select PNG for file output.

#4 Sky- TF2 Frag Clip **FEEDBACK MUCH APPRECIATED** in TF2 General Discussion

How are you recording your footage? I see you are recording at a higher framerate, but your slowmotions are choppy(and somewhat unneeded). I have a feeling you are either using SrcDemo2, or you are re-rendering out the footage at 30 FPS to save file space or something.

If you are using SrcDemo2, you have to keep in mind that you still need to set your output framerate higher in order to do slowmotion(60 FPS if you want to slowdown to 50%)

If its the latter, you should probably invest in a bigger hard drive. (If the problem is laggy video playback, you can disable resample while you edit and then enable it when you render)

The colors look a bit dry on most clips.

EDIT: Hitsounds.

Hey, I really love the spectator hud on this hud, but I want to use Huda Iscariote for gameplay. I tried to get this spectator hud to work on top of Hudas by copying all of the Spectator stuff in resource/ui.
