TholeThere were some popular tf.tv ones a few years ago
The ones active now are only poppin from 7-9. it's lame.
Has it ever been a conversation to get something like this going? Maybe a copycat of the MGE method where you add to maps but, instead include your class? I'm sure it would be appreciated if good effort was put in. I'm not exactly aware if anything like it has already been tried.
Does anyone know how to make the killfeed transparent or remove profile pictures from the scoreboard?
why would you equip an ambassador these days
ShearsI made a tutorial recently covering how to use Lawena and AVIRecorder together as I've also noticed a lack of good guides out there atm, here it is - https://youtu.be/d5oYFrrNDpQ - This covers how to use them together for an efficient workflow but IIRC you can use AVIRecorder by itself if Lawena is totally f'd up on your computer for some reason.
It's also worth taking a look at ryukbot for recording demos, though I haven't tried that myself.
Thank you very much man!
I installed PREC a few days ago and I had some really good highlights that I want to finally start making content with but I just run into error after error after error, like my install directory is wrong no matter where I put it or that it's recording and it actually isn't and so on. All of the support threads are from 5+ years ago and I just want to get off the demo files and into Sony Vegas.
I'm an editor, so the initial quality of my recordings is going to get re-compressed and messed up with effects pretty harshly. Since I am having so many problems with this software does anyone know if I can bypass the recording function with this other software while having the quality config ect, and have little downsides? It doesn't need to be in depth or anything.
I have 7500 hours of this game and was part of the community like many of you back in the old Epsilon / HRG / mix^ days,
The one thing I have not done in my TF2 career yet is be a part of the community, for REAL. Not just be another UGC / ESEA ( rip ) team member.
Is there anything out there that has room for volunteers? I know there are boatloads of small events all over the place, I would prefer ones that are comp related in any way at all but they don't have to be. I genuinely don't know where to look so I thought i'd ask reddit and here for advice.
Thanks!
Does anyone have the clip of showstopper getting fragged by a rocketjumping soldier while he was invis playing spy in a process pug? it was on b4nnys stream and I cant find it on youtube, was maybe last or 2 years ago
edit: word choice
Sometime in our lives this era will end and people will become rational again, let that be your silver lining to this.
So after an incredibly long period of fighting I convinced my friend of 10 years to try 6's after him despising competitive and it's players in general due to how much they ruin his fun in pubs, but I'm very worried about the people he will play with, my first 6v6 experience 5 years ago was with nice people and a modest leader from the upper division, we went over callouts and everything and I wont think his luck will be the same. Is there anything I can do to help him find a good place?
This seems to be a common problem among all my friends, and its stopping me from playing competitive completely.
My TF2 will be running at 60-90 fps, for an inconsistant amount of time to the issue, and then it will just drop to 0 and freeze for a random amount of time, worst i've ever had is about 15 seconds, and then I'll be dead.
I've tried putting my computer under like four fans and suspending it so it's cool, vaccuming the dust out or cleaning it with pressurized air. If it has to deal with game settings, I dont care what settings I have to play on, I just want to play 6v6.
Is this something I cant fix? or is it a common issue?
Would love any help or suggestions.
I run on DX81, config can get around 135.
This is my current computer, but I'll be buying a better computer purely to play TF.
