In the last fully charged, cbear said that Tyrone was returning along with Mackey. Any confirmation on that?

#26 eXtv-LAN-Recast in TF2 General Discussion

I really enjoy post produced cast so thanks for taking the time. My only problem is that it looks like the framerate is quite bad and it looks very choppy. Is this because of youtubes 30 fps restriction or is there something else? It looks even choppier than 30 fps...

#1 Calling finnish tf2 players going to i49 in TF2 General Discussion

Hello everyone! I'll write this in english so that everyone can understand.

I'm a student studying journalism and also an avid tf2-player. Right now I'm temping for a major finnish newspaper and I had an idea that it would be interesting to do a small feature on a finnish tf2-player going to i49.

If anyone would be interested, and you happen to live somewhat close to Helsinki I'd love to hear from you. It would be a cool way to get some exposure for our game, and a good way for me to promote my own writing, while discreetly working my own agenda of promoting tf2.

You can ad me on steam or give me a message here and I'll ad you.

#11 Voicechat and mechanical keyboards in Hardware

At the moment I have a bit of a ghetto setup. The headphones are a borrowed t-bone HD-880 and the mic is a zoom h2 audio recorder, plugged in via usb. I'd like to replace this with something that has better audio quality, both for me and my teammates.

#1 Voicechat and mechanical keyboards in Hardware

I'm currently using a quickfire tk with cherry mx blue switches. Needless to say it's a very loud keyboard and is picked up by my microphone a lot when talking on mumble.

Even though I'm using push to talk this is annoying for my teammates. What type of microphone, audio settings, etc can I use to combat this? Will a good headset also pick it up when I play? Or do I simply have to live with it?

#183 i49 in TF2 General Discussion

As someone who didn't donate last time I'd like to chime in on this. Before i46 I was reluctant to donate since I didn't know what to expect and if the entertainment would be worth the money I'd spend. Now, if a donation drive for i49 starts up I will gladly hand over 20 or so euros.

I was only getting into the competitive scene when the i46 donations started up and watching the final with my roommate (who isn't even that into tf2 and not at all interested in playing comp) was awesome! The hype of EU vs NA made it an enjoyable spectacle and I bet that if the drive is started again I think Black_bob will be right. People will be more willing to donate. Even some who don't play comp regularly themselves.
