#26 LFT S14 ESEA - O in Recruitment (looking for team)

Good guy, huge potential as a player. He's got the right idea and given some guidance he could be a devastating force as a roamer.

#10 mana roamer/pocket LFT mid-high open season 15 in Recruitment (looking for team)

This guy Mana, he's the man(a). He's got a great attitude towards improving his game and is a fantastic positive personality to have in mumble. It sucks to see that his team isn't together anymore but I think him and all the players on it should have no trouble going their separate ways as they all have the potential to get really good at the game given time.

gl buds :)

#5 Planning on a Bball league in TF2 General Discussion

Shotgun bodyblocking is not game breaking in the slightest, you just have to take account of the fact it may happen and dodge it. I personally don't fancy it myself but there is absolutely no way to regulate this whatsoever unless you ban the shotgun (and if you try to ban it by looking through stvs it just becomes really complicated as there are circumstances which may be out of that persons hands) and having played against very capable players who DO shotgun bodyblock its not too hard to cap, you just have to try harder(so to speak)and put more effort and thought into when and how you jump into the hoop.

#23 rays lft high open/im scout in Recruitment (looking for team)

There is a lot for me to say about rays, and all of it is good.

The man is quite frankly one of the most genuinely nice people within this community, no doubt in my mind. I've known rays since the start of my 6s "career" and I firmly believe had I not gotten involved with him or Sunday Funday I would not be where I am today.

I had and still have a great degree of respect for rays and company due to their incredibly positive attitudes towards the game which is sadly a rarity within a lot of teams.

His DM is a lot better than he makes it out to be and he definitely has the gamesense of a low/mid IM scout in my mind.

Needless to say rays is very self-critical (and modest) about his play (perhaps too much) and always harping on himself for mistakes he makes. But in my mind this will lead him to improve incredibly quick given the opportunity to play on a strong up and coming team this season in open or IM.

Rays' positive attitude is a delight to have in any mumble and if spirits are low I guarantee he will lift them.

Pick him up!

Good lucky buddy! :)

#11 More BBall in TF2 General Discussion

Hey jdawg, I ran a bball tournament a while back. If you need any help feel free to add me. Regardless, I recommend putting a link to the group in your post. Contact enigma or someone that can help you perhaps get an article or an announcement on the subject. For streaming and even casting, get in contact with the right people for that (casters).

My personal recommendation is that you give it more time and plan things out more thoroughly, as I rushed my little tournament quite a bit and while it was an overall success in my mind there were many no-shows due to not being prepared beforehand and rushing things. Like I said get in contact with the right people and this can be a big hit.

Dates need to be consistent and solid otherwise people who don't check the thread regularly will not show.

And if signups are going to be on the forums, make sure you have a template for people to follow ie:

So add me if you need any help. http://steamcommunity.com/id/paddie_

#1 Problems with mumble overlay. in Q/A Help

Hiya dudes of Teamfortress.tv I've been having some issues with getting my mumble overlay to work with TF2 since I got my new PC on BOTH dx8 and dx9. I've tried numerous "fixes" but none of them seem to work (-nod3d9ex, whitelisting TF2, updating to a Windows 8 compatible mumble version)

As stated above I'm on Windows 8, but I am using the beta version that works with W8, I'm unsure what the issue could be beyond this.

Any help at all would be greatly appreciated.

I've played against him several times in MGE, and while I don't know him all that well I can safely say he has REALLY good DM.
