KanecoWe've probably been the most unlucky team so far in the whole tournament despite having the most attempts in the whole tournament through the group phase we didn't manage to win a single game, and in the game vs Hungary alone we managed to concede 2 very unlucky deflected goals in like 10 mins. Maybe we didn't even deserve this win this game but so far from what we've done the whole tournament I think that compensates for the lack of luck we've been having.

If you have a lot of attempts but still dont manage to win games, it's not lack of luck i'm sorry. And if you consider the 30+ shots Ronaldo had in the tournament as attempts, there's nothing i can do for you. SHooting a freekick in the wall isn't an attempt.
People aren't not underestimating Portugal, they just say what they see : despite having good forwards, Portugal can't seem to find any solutions while attacking. I find the midfield very poor in terms of creativity, and their defense isn't as solid as you might think, considering how many goals and occasions they conceded since the beginning of the Euro.

Croatia had a better tournament, but it's not always the best team that wins. Portugal should go to the semis tho, I don't see Poland steeping up their game (hoping to be wrong :) ).

Portugal got so lucky haha, going through the next round without having won a single game.
One side of the tournament is so easy now, freeway for Belgium, Croatia and Poland, one of these nations is going to the final.
Spain, Italy, Germany, England and France on the same side, thanks big teams for choking at lan.

Great episode overall.

I truly loved the way it was made, how the story was told. Usually battles feel epic and brutal, but this time it almost digusted me, you could feel how war is awful, how bodies just pile up and how you can feel hopeless when all odds are against you.

I actually didnt like the way Ramsay died, and I think the conversation between him and Sansa is poorly written. I'll surely miss his character, can't wait for another grim antagonist !

One of the best things i've ever watched on TV, really looking forward to the last episode !!

the301stspartanit_is_crownApperantly CR was really salty after the game, calling out Iceland for cheering so much after a draw...it's their debute, cmon. Everyone would cheer, especially against such team as Portugal.
Sauce? He looked so chill in all the closeups and was smiling after the game, didn't look pissed at all

lolno he wasnt chill at alln have you seen the end of the game ?

Johny_16_imo portugal isnt built around cr7 anymore, just the normal since hes playing as a striker. And William didnt play in this game btw, it was Danilo :p

Yeah sorry I dont why I said William :(

Portugal has no good striker except Ronaldo. Not a single one. The team is built around CR7, and midfielders usually have a good quality in controling the ball and passing (kinda disappointed in Andre Gomes and William).
Iceland is way better than everyone thinks, and I expect them to be a pain for many teams.

Hungary can be proud, that performance is outstanding, even though Austria choked a lot.

Tomorrow begins the second day, really looking forward to it, some teams are already in big troubles and will struggle a lot more than they expected.

the301stspartanOmbrackdancefloorIt was an incredible performance put out by ukraine against the world cup winners. Shame they didnt get a goal or two.
Hem sorry ? Ukraine was amazingly poor tonight, only relying on its wingers to do something. Germany was more a threat to itself than Ukraine was (Boateng and Neuer weren't as reassuring as they sould have been).

The fuck? Götze and Neuer were the stars of the game? They held the defense together on their own, everyone else was lacking. Boateng and Neuer were excellent.

Götze ? I believe you meant Boateng.
I didnt say they were bad, I said they weren't as reassuring as they should have been. Boateng's long balls were very poor in the first half, and he did one or two small mistakes on the second half.
Neuer did okay on his line, but some of his plays were discutable (yes, im talking about when he tried to go for the ball outside of the box in the end, not communicating with Mustafi, and then doing somewhat of a foul on the ukrainian, that could have a been a penalty imo).
Dont get me wrong, they're both excellent players, and they had a good game. But against better teams, stuff like that will be punished.

This is how they won two euros and one world cup, hard to change this when it was so successful.

So far every team lacked consistency (couldnt watch Spain unfortunatly), it confirms that no team is arguably better than the others.

I liked Poland and Croatia, should be interesting to see them against better opposition (Germany-Poland will be sick I hope).

England always seems strong but always fails, I expect this time to be the same.
Glad to see people see us as favourites :)
I dont see a clear #1 this year, as Spain was some years ago. Maybe Belgium or Croatia will create a big upset.

(France to win. Or Germany)

the301stspartanDamnEasynot much happened though lolAlso I'm confused about Yara's plan. What's her plan?

IIRC, Yara has the 1000 boats, she and her men stole them while her uncle was crowned. That's why Euron urges his followers to build some new ships in episode 6. Yara has the cards, Euron doesn't.
