#17 Medic class unpopular? in TF2 General Discussion

I like medic cause it allows me to be good (okay, decent...) at FPS games even tho I suck at shooting at people.

Denmark and Sweden have very strong lineups, i don't see England winning that easily.

#63 ETF2L S24 UBF: nameLess vs. Full Tilt in Matches

imo slow playstyle is the result of nameless sticking together for a long time now. As they've played together for what, one year, they've built a solid playstyle, with everyone being really important in their mechanics, not overextending and playing for the team.
When you make a new team, you dont have solid chemistry or a strong maincall, therefore your plays are somewhat messy, and an agressive playstyle tends to compensate for these moments when you dont know what to do. No plan ? Everyone jumps in and you just hope for the best.

Nameless is the strongest team in EU because they play as a team. Im pretty sure an agressive but coordinate playstyle may beat them, but playing as unit while being agressive is way harder than playing passive as a unit. As there arent many established teams (as in, old teams), a passive team is the best and "easiest" way to be the best team. If teams sticked together for a long time and had better coordination, Nameless would surely have to change the way they play.

In the end, nameless isnt to be blamed, other teams are.

So basically you're blaming nameless for being the better team at adjusting to the opponent and giving no space to the other team ?

I haven't watched the game, but I thought Pepe missing would harm Portugal more than that. I guess the fact that Ramsey was suspended was a bigger downgrade for Wales.

If Germany wins tonight, I see them winning the final without much trouble (understand, no over time or PK). If France wins tho (BELIEVE), the final would be much closer imo.

I'm so stressed haha...

#166 GoT season 6 in Music, Movies, TV
Snape^ in the final scene boats with dornish and martell sigils were spotted. My theory is that some time had passed between the dorne-scene and the final scene. Thus giving time for varys n' friends to get back to dany and sail to westeros. Iirc GRRM has said in an interview that the chapters of his book can be a pov spanning from 2 hours to 2 months or something like that.

Probably, but the show must be able to explain everything by itself. I mean, they could have mad a 30 secondes scene where Varys comes back with plenty of boats. COnsidering Varys was seen at Dorne 10 minutes ago in the episode, I find it odd.
But yeah, timelapse explains it.

Edit: 3 shots of moving ships with sigils on them isnt clear enough imo, but oh well

In the end it's 3-0
edit: 4-0 sorry. I feel sorry for Hungary, they surely don't deserve such an exit

the301stspartan Thus I contest your notion that Portugal doesn't deserve to be in the quarters over Croatia.

Never said that but ok.

Any, FRANCE !! omg what a relief

Did I say Portugal was lucky to win ? I don't think so.
I didn't talk about the game between Croatia and Portugal btw. Yesterday's game could have gone either way, and it went for Portugal, good for them.

You talk like going undefeated in a group composed with Austria, Hungary and Iceland was an outstanding performance. I think we all agree that Portugal should have won these games "on the paper", but they didn't not because of bad luck, but because they played poorly in front of the goals.

I don't hold any grudge against Portugal, I just think people overlook their weaknesses just because they have Ronaldo in the squad.
