#1 For the people who play smash bros in orlando. in Off Topic

This isn't intended at all. It's your sincere choice to join up with me and my friends on Saturday for a competitive smash bros. tourney for both melee and brawl. The champion of Zenith 2013, and also my good buddy, Wizzrobe will be there.

The tournament will be held in next level lan's new location in aloma, near UCF.
Door Fee's 5 bucks, but you only pay it if you're entering the tournament. Spectating and Friendlies are free, but it's limited since we need the sets to make the tournament run smoothly, unless you can be able to provide setups so

The setups are as followed:
The Wii and its setups.
Wii Remote
Lag-Free TV.

See you there if you want, fellow TF2 Mates!

I only said that because that's what I want to do, no matter how ignorant I may be. The match-ups in brawl is pretty much the only thing I focus on, because it's what tells what the player can or can't do, what they need to avoid, and how to take advantage.

The skill of a player does determine how much use he/she can make out of a character, and the put it down in a match-up thread only to determine the tier list in a proper way. It's just there to tell you which character has a stronger chance of victories. I'm not gonna follow that route where people choose snake and stuff only because he's better.

I'm in competitive brawl because I want to beat the people who beated other people by finding strategies and ways to take advantage, not a cheat sheet. I can assure you most smash pros do the same as I do, not because of the tier list, but because it the character the find most comfortable to play with.

Bah, random rambling, yes. But that's just my two cents. I also hate myself for starting an argument.

Edit--

Here's another video. This one was my favorite.

#396 How to Get to In-Game Comp Lobbies in TF2 General Discussion

That's barely mumbo jumbo, that's a good amount of info.

I've used the soda popper before, and it does lead you to a bad position. It's the same as the FaN, a weapon that should mainly be used for Hit-and-Runs. I feel that the SC's reload time compared to the FaN means nothing, as it still leaves you vulnerable if you try to attack head on. The crits do make up for it, but you wouldn't have the time just moving around in one spot, unless the opposing team are readying themselves while your are capping the point.

I don't mind, but what I'm basically saying is that the character's not the one who kicks ass, it's the player who does, and if the player can kick the ass of another, then that's what the player will do to everyone else, despite what character the player picks.

I play kirby, btw.

Not directed to anyone as I skimmed a lot, but here's how I feel:

I do not care for the cons provided in this one, I just don't. I'm not a competitive player, but I'm still beyond interested. Not hyped at all, but if I was a longtime tf2 into competitive play, I would definitely be.

I don't know if I'm saying anything wrong here, but I just want to see this and everyone's ideas to spread like wildfire, just to lead to the joyous finale. :P

I ignore tier lists because there are people in the community that know the difference between that and skill, and skill wins. Here's Scizor's link, and Cheers to all.

suikaPerhaps your mac is overheating? Crespi had the same issue:

Well damn, that's shocking for me. I'm too cowardly to do this, lol, but I think this definitely helps.

I'm not as sure if this is the right pleace to post, but I'll just post it anyways. I generally play Team Fortress 2 on my 15-inch macbook pro. The reason why is because I don't have anything else and I do not have money for anything other than using the bus to go to my University (Full Sail), that one school who gives macbooks to students so they can do their work in there, provided with maya, photoshop and such.

Now, when I play tf2 in maps like 2fort (where I mostly play), it was fine at first until my fps started dropping (or rising, don't know). I used to have one those mods that lowers the quality for better performance, but I never liked that things in the way that shows how much fps I'm getting. It's hard for me to explain. I'm very interested in getting a good gaming laptop like razer or alienware, because I love the techs with the bigger rams and better cards and cooling systems so much that I'd hug them all, but I'm not rich, so....lol.

I'm kind of an experienced player that mains the scout, plays the sniper, spy, and pyro with a trackpad, not a mouse. I'd play the demoman with a sticky jumper and pan just for the fun of it. I'm part of =(eGO)= and a moderator of tf2shop, blah blah blah...

Sorry if this is misleading or anything, but long story short, I wanna know if I can get better performance on my mac without the use of tf2mate.
