#431 The International 3 in Esports

In the end, hypotheticals are useless. It happened. Ky.xy couldn't handle the pressure of that stage, and made the most horrendous mistake of the tournament at the worst possible time. Unfortunately, individual mistakes can be enough to take you down even in a team game. As TF2 players, we all know this. There's no such thing as deserving to win anything. You have to execute throughout, and you have to capitalize on your advantages. Orange didn't do that.

m i really dont think orange was quite as far ahead as people think thanks to track kills getting up key items on them

This. Even with Aegis, Orange would have still had to execute a high-ground push against a BKB Enigma and a Abyssal Lifestealer, and Navi had buybacks. With the way they ended up shutting down the Bane and OD with those items, I'm not convinced Orange could have made a game-winning push at that time. Pretty sure the game would have gone later anyway.

On the other hand, the aegis deny probably ruined Orange's mindset. And Navi is going to get ruined by Alliance now.

EsDeeKayit's 4 am here and i have to be awake at 9:30 am. TI3 is worth it, right?

You don't have to wake up if you never fall asleep!

Despite wanting Alliance to win this, I am sooooo fucking tired of seeing Alchemist.

THE PLAYS!

Liquid yesterday turning a stolen Aegis into a team wipe and rushing LGD's ancient, now Navi turning TongFu's 5 man+Aegis push into a team wipe and an absurd comeback with fountain hooks. Whaaaaaaaat.

Liquid big-dicking it with that throne push. Best game of the main event so far.

#12 M.E. LFT S15 in Recruitment (looking for team)

Update - unfortunately, it looks like I'm not actually going to be playing this next season. I'll be spending my extra time making a video game with a good friend instead of playing one. Hopefully, we make something that isn't a colossal load of crap.

Thanks to the teams that tried me out.

#1 M.E. LFT S15 in Recruitment (looking for team)

I played roamer and a little bit of pocket for Just The Tip this last season (currently 9-6), and while we didn't quite get to where we wanted to, it was still a fun season with some cool people. I'm going to need to cut back a bit on my scrim schedule, however, so I'm going back to the drawing board for S15.

I'm willing to play pretty much anything but demo for the right team. My league experience is all on soldier, mostly roamer, but I have played pocket and called for the team as well. However, I think my medic can be pretty strong and my scout decent, so if you want to try me out on either of those, I'm more than willing.

I'm available Sun - Thurs from 9:30 - 1 ET, but I'm going to need a team that doesn't actually play all 5 of those days. 4 out of 5 would still work fine. That being said, I'll leave it to the comments to tell you where I belong as far as divs go. Thanks for reading.

#15 spaceghostpurrp DEMO LFT in Recruitment (looking for team)

To be fair, the team space rang for actually offered him a spot on their team. The only reason he isn't already IM is because he made the very mature and selfless decision to stick through our team's struggles and finish out the season. Had he taken the offer, this silly debate over whether space is IM material would be moot.

#6 spaceghostpurrp DEMO LFT in Recruitment (looking for team)

SGP is a fantastic demo from my experience playing with him this last season. He's dedicated to the team, to getting better, and to winning. He'll really shine on a team that can match his aggression and create the appropriate space for him. Just needs to comm a bit more so people can capitalize on his great damage.

If you're a team moving into IM next season and will need a demo, you should have picked him up yesterday.
