Joke aside, I haven't tried it yet (not sure if I can with win 7 anyway) so I can't confirm or deny this.

Well, past experiences have made people very touchy when it comes to using a browser, and let's face it, back then there were better ones out there. That is a tendency that it's hard to stop, since most people prefer the usual stuff rather than change it (humans are lazy, you know).
