as some context: some guy was on a server which is part of a community i sorta am a moderator of. he and someone else were basically destroying this free-to-play scout, so i decided to give a little bit of help. i've encountered this guy before and last time he was on he complained about the default rocket launcher due to splash damage. he was a black box soldier, if you cared to know.
long story short, i was a direct hit soldier 80% of the time (and doing ridiculously good because i am otherwise trash) until i decided to switch to stock and then make things easier for myself. he went black box soldier to counter me, missed 3 rockets at close range and proceeds to shotgun me. i walk up to him and hit him with a shovel because i was out of ammo from jumping. since his shotgun dropped, i took it. he came back out to kill me, so i popped him into the air and shotgunned him out of the air:
