i went to GXL 2 years ago cause it was hyped to be one of the biggest north american LANs and I lived not that far away from PA. I went and had a fucking blast. I had only ever played in UGC steel 6s and silver HL.
it doesn't matter if you blow dicky at the game. you can still have a fuckton of fun at a LAN and I really wish I was able to go to GXL this fall.

TripzAm I the only one that wants to go on a server with a stupid high skybox and try to hit airshots that will mean nothing?
i actually did this with a few friends. was on jump_pagoda. 1 engi to setup the trampoline, 1 soldier to jump on top w/ hurtme -99999999, and 8 direct hit soldiers.
was a really fun time.
