much appreciated. can you explain why you would use alternative harsh settings when using a monitor with >66hz? is it just too jittery on the harshest settings?
also as far as usage goes, should users shoot for harsh and the go softer if experiencing issues? should I be using harsh settings on hitscan if I feel that I can get away with them?
yeah there's some pretty funky stuff that you can do with server plugins. some are clearly for fun like the TFTrue Bhop mod but it could be exploited for personal gain
however I think CEVO was saying that you'd only use your own servers for the F2P divs? and in that case I'm not sure how many people would be incentivized to cheat

i cap my FPS in source games as well. i use 264.
it's weird because if you have too much FPS the game feels faster? and also if it fluctuates too much it might screw with you in terms of consistency so capping it is a safe bet.
isn't that pretty clearly an exploit?
it kind of sucks for projectile classes like soldier or demoman since your melee weapon is hitscan but my recommendation would just be to bite the bullet and set the interp for the primary weapon
