definitely go with a headphone/mic combo over the headset

it's not terrible but it has a leveling grind very similar to WoW. haven't done much pvp or any raid/dungeon content.

i'm kind of sad that the street hoops vs XTS game got overlooked but hopefully someone can cast it
ruwin asks, "what should he do differently?" I don't know...maybe wait a couple days and cool down, think things over, and let the dust settle before turning on your stream. angry reactions might be entertaining reactions but turning on your stream and asking people to take shots at you doesn't seem like the best way to handle this situation. then again, it's his stream he can do whatever he wants.
sven seems like a nice guy, good player, great streamer. sucks to see him upset but ultimately it's just drama that people will forget about in a week. keep streaming, keep doing your thing man. sven, if you're out there and listening -- if you truly care about the game and playing it, you won't let this minor setback prevent you from playing TF2 or streaming. stop focusing on the negatives and look at the positives. who cares what people think about you; keep streaming for the people who do enjoy what you do.

edypug.na is full of giant circle jerks so a non invite/main/known IM player will probably never get picked (with the exception of great community members like truk truk or something similar)
truktruk is at least an IM level scout...

to tag along with what cyzer said, I've noticed that the pug channels are being used with less frequency these days, and when they are used it's usually the same people adding up. in many ways it's just another inhouse pug that occasionally invites others to play.
what would make more people inclined to use those public channels?
I'm sure it would be nice to get some fresh faces in there.
