gr8stalinSince HL allows every weapon under the sun, there's this belief that every last weapon makes the game more dynamic, skill based, and interesting. Since 6s limits the weapons that can be used, apparently that prevents people from thinking, forming their own strategies, and aiming.
Well that's a harsh way of looking at it...
A more apt description might be: Humans by nature are creatures of habit, and dislike change when it affects them negatively. In a competitive environment, this change can come about in the form of a new innovative strategy, new parts, or a combination of both; depending on the competition. In either case the change would require other teams to adopt similar or competing strategies to keep up or lobby for it to be banned to maintain the norm.
Examples of this include the Quick Fix, Battalion's Backup, The T-Rex Car, and the Brabham BT46B "Fan Car".

The GPU sounds fine, it's most likely the CPU causing a bottleneck. As Arma 3 is still pretty bad at CPU useage, though a helluva lot better than A2 was.
