I found a way to get infinite caps

At the end of the Covenant mission after you rescue Amelia Stockton and you talk to Dan about your reward, he will give you 300 caps and you'll be prompted with a dialogue choice. But if you simply walk away from the conversation, wait a few seconds, and then talk to Dan again, he'll restart the conversation, giving you another 300 caps and leading to a dialogue choice, which you can repeat as many times as you want until you complete the quest.
