Jwwindows_xpFor the record, the dollar is "strong" compared to the yen right now. If anyone reading this has been considering taking a trip to Japan, now is a pretty good time to do it -- your money will stretch around 30% further than if you had visited in 2019. One of my professors was talking about this last semester.torriti only clicked on this because i thought it would be about the japanese economythe yen usd exchange rate dropped briefly due to US tariff threats and the release of deepseek decreasing the strength of the dollar abroad. Additionally the Bank of Japan continues to hike interest rates in an attempt to control inflation, strengthening bond yields to a near 1.2% return.
