jewbagelsim sorry to bump this thread but can anyone help me figure out how to increase the volume of my hitsound? i already have it set to tf_dingaling_volume 1.0 in game but it is still to silent for my liking. Is there a way to boost the audio levels by editing the file of the hitsound? i am using this hitsound http://tf2dingalings.com/sound/details/256
Get audacity, and goggle "audacity amplification."
Or you can pm me and I'll do it tomorrow.

I tried a really short stream on hitbox today, and going back to 5 second delay feels fantastic. My stream is tiny, so immediate interaction is a great thing. I'd seriously consider switching to hitbox if it were implemented in the tftv sidebar.

ExquisiteStonebut it's always been weird to me everyone makes sympathy posts on tragic things (like the plane crash a while ago) but when they donate they donate to tf2 players?
thats just a really silly way of looking at it. just because the only donation drives your see on the COMPETITIVE TEAM FORTRESS 2 FORUMS are related to COMPETITIVE TEAM FORTRESS 2 doesnt mean that those are the only things that we donate money to. i donate to various other things but you dont see posts about it because it has nothing to do with the forums

ExquisiteStoneNot to be THAT guy, but even if this guy has a little bit of a rough time don't you think there are better things to donate to?
this is a competitive team fortress 2 forum.
this is for a person who has poored serious ammounts of time into competitive team fortress 2.
pleeeease get off your high horse. it's not like everyone doesn't know there are more "worthwhile" charities out there, but for people that have watched so much of what dashner has done may want to help him out. i didn't know this was a problem before, and it hurts no one for me to throw 5 bucks toward someone who has done so much to further the production level for casts and stuff.

I pugged with lactose ~4 times a week for over a year straight. I haven't played with him in a while, but he's a good player with a drive to improve. He's a solid pickup for any mid open team.

Figuring out how to block sound from my room

It may not make your teammates happy or whatever, but having a (kinda loud) fan will help with cooling for the closet idea and also provide some white noise so you don't seem as loud to your parents.
You could also get a nice cardioid mic and talk a bit quieter. I use a blue yeti and it can picks up words that i mouth into it.

Yeah, as much as I like getawhale and his casting, comparing him to cbear is kinda crazy. Cbear has been around for a really long time, and his experience shows. Getawhale is one of the better caters currently, but thinking he's better than cbear is silly lol
