It’s been awhile since I’ve helped run a tournament. This thread (sent to me by dreamboat) gave me a reason to do another. So, here’s the REAL Spring Tourney (NA 6v6), sponsored by serveme.tf.

The tournament will be played March 19th, starting at 3pm est. It’ll go as late as it needs to. The tourney may also bleed over to Sunday night if needed, so be prepared for that as well. We're hoping to get some games casted in a somewhat casual way. More on that soon.

Rules:
-Winlimit 5
-30 minute games
-ESEA whitelist
-ESEA maplist
-Double elimination, unless more than 16 teams sign up
-Three backups per team, no roster changes a week before tourney starts
-No buy-ins, but any team with an alt will be kicked from the tournament

Just a super simple day for you and your teammates or friends to play some TF2.

Just like our devs have been working on the site itself over the past few months, our administration team has also been hard at work on rules and procedures. Here's a write up by Rand (our Administrative Leader) and myself about how the team plans on moderating the site. The post also includes the list of rules at this moment. These rules are subject to change based on community feedback, so we'd love to hear your opinions on here before our actual open beta release. Thanks.

Really unfortunate that a miscommunication held you back from playing in ESEA this season. The teams are premade (by me and some other newbie mix admins/ helpers), and you can ask to be on a team with friends (meaning you could have maintained your whole roster). See you next season!

I'm super happy that some of the newbie mix teams worked out decently.

We'll definitely be getting into it much early next time around (right at the end of the regular season, actually). Made a lot of mistakes this go around (didn't use my esea referral code so I'm paying for several people out of pocket, didn't wait until everyone had signed up to form the first few teams, etc) that are easily fixed. Definitely planning on doing another one, though.

Hey guys! In 3 days the first month of ESEA subscription that me + some great anonymous donors paid will end. If you have any ESEA premium codes you aren't planning on using (a rarity, I know), please tftv pm me about it. There are six people I will be renewing premium for this week. I'm happy to do it, I'd just rather not if I can avoid it. Ya know?
