I'd love to start this season. Already paid.

This is literally the stupidest thing I've ever read on tftv. Actually stupider than when you mined bit coins. Stupider than the dragon dildo thread. It's that stupid. Yup.

To start,

This seems almost ignorant.

• The time between LAN and this new (closer and stupider) cut off date is less than a month, not more. (LAN ended December 7, cutoff for determining divisions now the 5th.
  
• Even if it weren't, a bunch of teams (see: nearly all of them) take a week break after LAN. It's a time where a lot of players (including those that didn't go to lan) take a little break.
  
• Even if THAT weren't a thing, Christmas is a thing. Hanukkah and kwanzaa are things. I'm visiting family right now (just like a lot of other people). It's hard to account for 6 people and have them all pay up during the holiday season, especially if you aren't scrimming regularly.
  
• Even if THAT weren't a thing, people are now not wanting to pay in for fear of playing in a single shitty division rather than 3 decent ones.

No one wants this. You're doing this as a scare-tactic to get people paid up. You aren't fooling anyone. If this is how you legitimately feel, then I'm actually terrified of the fact that you're in charge of anything. You guys did yourselves a big blow a year ago with the bitcoin/ CEVO fiasco. Not only should it have never happened, but the way ESEA handled it was laughable at best. This isn't how you get the business back from the CEVO players that can't play there anymore.

Literally so many stupid decisions that it hurts to read and know that this is the best organization for NA TF2.

I paid up in ESEA earlier today, I've been working on getting a roster together to play with in open. This makes it incredibly difficult for me as a leader, as people are now questioning whether or not they want to play in ESEA because of this. So now I have to work on my roster more, and I have less time to do it. Literally no sense.

It's a shame star's not playing this time. The best part last tourney was watching him stonecold kill everything because no one else plays tf2. I'll be watching these though :)

You could possibly mention that they can also get their fees paid with the help of cook.

I don't understand how people fall asleep listening to music. I sometimes turn on relaxing music to keep myself awake so I can lie down and relax a bit. Like, is it not distracting?

Also I didn't mention in my first post because I was on mobile, a lot of people don't understand how much time/ dedication/ consistency it takes to run one of these tournaments. I worked probably 2-5 hours a day on the ultiduo tournament from the day it started until 2 days after it was over, there were 3 more admins that worked with me, and there were still bumps in the REALTourney Ultiduo thing. The first week, I worked a full time job of it (about 7 hours a day every day of the week). Obviously a 16 slot bracket won't be quite so much, but unless you're willing to drop everything to answer someone's question at 3 AM on a Tuesday night, you might want to consider not hosting tourneys.

If you want to continue with this, feel free to ask me anything, and I'd love to help you get stuff organized or whatever via steam or tftv messages.

It hasn't been announced yet because we're currently housing a 2v2 mge tourney. REALTourney will be hosting a bball tournament staying somewhere around early March though.

Also, we had a double elim 64 team bracket for ultiduo and we only used two of our four servers at any given time, so having three servers for 16 teams is probably excessive.
