I'm considering the US secondary education system a write-off at this point tbh
having seen the inside workings of it (albeit in one of the worst education states in the country) there's no fixing something that broken.

You can get a emulators to play these games. As for ISOs and whatnot, you'll have to dig those up yourself
Paper Mario 64: Nintendo 64
Can't remember if Thousand Year door is Wii or GC, either way, it's the Dolphin Emulator
Trails in the Sky, Ys Series, Recettear: PC, most available on Steam
Inside Story is on the DS; I'm not quite versed on DS emulators, so you'll have to google those.
My suggestion would be Xenoblade Chronicles on the Wii. It's a long game though; thank god the emulator has an option to remove the frame limit.

RadmanFor those of us that don't have our computers over the holiday break, what's it like playing with the new sticky launcher? Do you feel weaker as demo (no theorycrafterino pls)?
From what I've played so far, I don't feel that there's any real difference except that you have to be a bit more precise with your spam. I didn't notice the long-range damage bug though.

Before landing myself on that server, I played 1k hours on Goldrush on some 24/7 Goldrush server. Don't remember the name anymore. But I would consider MI where I started.
I remember Oh Noes was a regular for a while. Attempting to kill him was fun.

Computer Science Major?

UltrazDid any of you guys that majored in CS completed an AP course for it and took a test in high school? At first i thought it was a good idea but then my CS teacher said it was not worth it because the class you go into once you go into college will be a continuation of the first. She said that we were still going to take it for the credits though, but do any of you guys have an experience in this?
I got to skip the introductory courses for CompSci at UC Irvine because I took the AP test. Not much other benefit to this though afaik.
As for my own compsci degree, went through it and found out i favored IT more than CS so I'm looking into DB certifications now...

Deetrjoejoe347Get a gaming pc + a cheap laptop for school. If you get a big gaming laptop you are never going to want to cart that around school.
This, and you could always get a small desktop that is mobile enough to bring with you for semi-permanent setups (LANs, school, etc) if you need power that is semi mobile. Just because it's a desktop doesn't mean it can't be pretty mobile.
MiniATX is pretty good too
