I did. And so far when I changed the captions it didn't change it in-game. It only uses the old onesSounds like you changed the .txt but didn't get it to compile properly. If so, using a compile script or dropping the .txt on common\Team Fortress 2\bin\captioncompiler.exe should compile it.

I know about normal caption mods but how do I make it so I can change what the captions say? I have voice mods and want to make it so the captions are the same as the sound but I don't know how to change what it says...anyone?

Things that remove models will increase fps, fullbright will increase fps significantly but break in sv_pure, and resized flat textures should help with GPU cache efficiency but I haven't benchmarked it.

I just wanna see something that'll make FPS higher, pixel-like, easy to see stuff (not blurry or THAT much of a downgrade), and that's really all.

MikeMatI've done it a few times, if you just wanna do color and fonts it's easy. Just add the new font file, add it to the fonts list on clientscheme, and change change the font definitions in the same file. Colors are the same, just change their definitions.

Maybe describe it a bit more? Can you try it...I tried and it broke everything
