#411 MAJOR TF2 update for 6/18/14 (6/19/14, Love & War) in TF2 General Discussion

Dear sticky nerf whiners,

  1. Accept the fact
  2. Do your mourning
  3. Man up
  4. Adjust your gameplay accordingly
  5. Shut your pieholes

Best regards,
The people who are relieved that the most overpowered mechanic in the game is finally (marginally) nerfed.

P. S. Fuck you.

That's because there isn't one. Read the last 3 pages of the thread.

#2 Default Hud Winpanel in Customization

1) Get a program called GCFScape
2) Open C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\SteamApps\common\Team Fortress 2\tf\tf2_misc_dir.vpk (or just Program Files on a 32-bit system)
3) Navigate to resource\ui
4) Extract winpanel.res

There you have it.

I'd really appreciate a dark background for the end of round screen, the hud text and the winpanel text get jumbled together:

In my opinion, it would be nice if it had the same colour scheme as the scoreboard.

I posted this to GitHub tracker as well, but there's this little bug in the main menu (the annoying promotional codes button)

I understand this may have been suggested previously but here is my proposition for a workaround regarding the font problem:

1. The developer creates their HUD with the desired font, preferably open source or otherwise free.

2. The end-user of the HUD is left with the responsibility of downloading the font from the appropriate source and installing it on their system or in the HUD folder.

Seems simple enough to me.

First of all, I love this hud. Second of all, the 3D models seem to be broken. For me, they don't change per class, and often the team colour is wrong.

EDIT: Spy disguise images are also broken, you always get the scout image.
