I personally got into comp through jumping / playing on the iT servers, I learned about ESEA/UGC and decided to try it out

I had a dream the other night that I went to my old church and they were going to hold a lan MGE tournament during spring break and first place received a unique (CS:GO styled skin) Original with a 500 dollar cash prize. However I didn't sign up because there was some guy named "BIG A" who was supposedly going to take the pot. - I rarely dream about video games, especially with the fact I barely touch MGE

I'm currently finally entering open (more likeley CEVO) as roamer this season. I've also been playing HL and 6's in UGC for the previous 3 seasons. I've been jumping for quite a while now and in my down time I always jump on local servers and stream it, I would like to stream scrims and matches but I can't hold a stable connection when I'm not on a local server streaming.

:c Spent pretty much all of my time on jump/jujumpiT, met some cool people, and learned about comp tf2 through these servers. It's been awesome and wanna say thanks to all the people who helped take care/supported the servers!

Sometimes just taking a short break from the game can help, it's something that tends to work

I use this command line in my launch options -sw -noborder -w 1360 -h 768. This puts my tf2 in windowed full-screen, so tabbing out is the same as using windowed mode but the game is still in full screen. Of course you'll have to adjust the -w (width) and -h (height)to your own monitors resolution. With this you can safely tab out at any time (Even during loading screens :D ) and you won't have to wait for the black screen that usually ended up crashing my tf2. I personally don't use/mess with any frame configs but I hope you or anyone else will take this into consideration. The only downside that i've noticed is that you can't adjust your brightness which hasn't been a problem for me at all.
