Great preds and dead on the KLite/QC game!

Just want to remind everyone to please be mature and respectful of the hosts and their guests during the show this week while you're in the chat. The last thing this community needs after last week is even more immature behavior in a public setting from anyone involved.

I wrote this before all that stuff happened, but I talked to him afterward and so far as I know he's still planning on playing HL with us. The issues people were having were centralized to 6s from my understanding. We all like him on scout in HL quite a bit.

Yeah, it'll likely change. QC has played all the other top teams lately though, and mTs hasn't. Hard to judge fairly in comparison when they've played so little thus far.

Steel is probably the best overall map because every class really gets to shine and teamwork is really important. GPit is a close second to that, IMO.

Pure had a solid game last night, but Seagull...just wow. Dude's just nuts. I know he was ubered, but killing Cyzer with 4 or 5 shotties while being suspended up in the air by the minigun looked boss as fuck. Expert flashing by Fragile too.

Let's get this rolling again! Rattling off the top teams:

Syndicate - New roster is still very strong, but not the unbeatable beast of last season. Hero on scout, SnakeKryptonite on soldier, Fathom on pyro, Arthur on heavy, and a possible Hildreth on medic make up the new pickups. Rumors that b4nny and ruwin will be brought in for playoffs seem substantiated by b4nny playing at least one scrim with them lately.

Gangsta Gang - new roster made up mostly of IM players. No more blaze on scout. Bunny on pyro is a big boost to a position that Star never really filled well in comparison to other pyros. Regulars like Ma3la, Seabass, Unff, and Raz appear to be back. Word is they may not scrim much, if at all, though, so what could be a top team may fall a bit short.

BPM - Looking stronger than ever while still figuring out a couple roster spots. They've been trying out soldiers, demos, and spies lately. I'll refrain from mentioning players' names out of respect for my buddies on BPM, but any of their tryouts on those classes will be excellent pickups.

mTs - no real word on what Team Mix^ is doing this season other than that they still plan on playing. The only rumors I've heard were from about a month ago: Harbleu staying on medic, enigma leaving with Oplaid taking over on scout, and mTs currently searching for a new heavy.

Ginyu Force - We're still looking for a scout, but Downpour is filling in until we find one. We've beaten the new TS roster once by a good margin and had a very close game (0-1 after 30 min half) with b4nny and hildreth in for them as well. Pretty pleased with how things are going so far :)

BFL - Toaster and Satan to remain the best flank pair in platinum this season. A possible pickup of Watt on sniper will perhaps give them a boost as well. The now longest standing team in platinum may move some folks around on classes but will likely keep all their current players as starters.

Preseason match is 1 week from today, so that essentially gives new teams about a week and a half to get added up. Right now platinum is looking a little sparse with many teams from last season dropping out. A few teams from last season's silver div have moved up and should be comfortably mid-low platinum level. We still need more teams though!
