Welcome to the first Essentials.TF Experimental One Night Cup!. Signups close 13/09/2017, 18:00 and check-in starts at 18:30. With the first round starting at 19:00 CEST.

The aim of these cups is to encourage map makers to make maps with 6s in mind and to provide feedback on maps in the making. As well as giving the community a chance to play maps that have been played before and that might once again make it into the active map pool with some changes.

What is experimental with this cup?

I will provide some more in detail info when I'm back in Sweden. But I had a moment now at the airport so: the event will take place in Lidköping at an esports center (think EA but smaller and run on a non-profit basis). You can make it to Lidköping by flying to either Gothenburg or Stockhom and from there take a train. Prizepool has been secured and will be announced soon.

We're happy to announce the 2nd Essentials.TF One Night Cup where we double the prizepool to 360 Euros! The cup will take place on Sunday the 20th and start at 18:00 CEST. Signups close at 17:00 CEST.

Format:
The tournament will be played in a simple single elimination format with all matches being BO1 except for the finals which will be a BO3. Signups close at 17:00 CEST on Sunday and Check-in start at 17:30 CEST on the Essentials.TF Discord. 1 match per round and also the finals will be casted over at the Essentials.TF Twitch.
