Just get better with DM. Go for UGC first, then 6's.
Thanks for the advice :) I guess I'll look for a UGC Plat or Low Open team to get my feet wet and then hopefully move onward and upward.

Everytime he asks me to mge or i join mge , since he can't get a kill and is loosing instead of practicing to get better at killing people, starts taunting or running into walls shooting himself because he "doesn't care". He literally does this every single match I've played him in mge and I've played him an access of 15 times.
Seems to think he is way better than he is and continues to add up to pug.na throwing matches by going triple/quadruple negative yet doesn't want to get better. Horrible attitude, when I recommended he start at tf2mix he told me he was too good and didn't need my advice. Key to getting better is believing you want to improve and he thinks he is the messiah already.
I realize I'm not all that good. Your DM is miles above and beyond mine, so I saw no point in trying. The reason I didn't want to join a tf2mix is because they're always a roll one way or the other.
How do you expect to get better by not trying :/

And for the practicing, I guess I could come up with an excuse that I just came back from a long break, but that's weak. I've started practicing my DM more and watching more STV demos.

100$ spare left over. 212+ because stock cooler is a sin, rapid fire tk as a keyboard option, 16 gb of ram, can go down to 8 if you aren't editing. card is just a beast. windows 8 because w8 + pokki start menu = w 7.5 and cheaper.
It comes to 1.9k w/o rebates and w/shipping, so you have 100$ to spend where you like, say on an extra monitor (list has a 144 hz from asus)

Since he doesn't plan to OC, he should drop the H100 to a 212+ and spend the rest on a Better GPU. Also, if he doesn't need the second monitor, that money can go towards a better Card as well. And if its only going to be a gaming build, the i7 can go to an i5 and I believe that's enough money to go for a 7970.
