Then what's a good way to change the meta? Running full time gunslinger engi would get rid of the scouts but that's not a game i want to play.

Nurseythe meta has evolved too far. there is only one weapon and class that can counter scouts that has been long forgotten
I've seen a lot more soldiers run shotgun lately (that includes me). While it's certainly better in a fight than gunboats, it's not the magical scout countering weapon some people make it out to be.

Most would accept that scout is the strongest class in the game right now. Is this fine or should it be changed?
If you believe he is too strong we should be buffing other classes rather then nerfing him.
Shoot me some ideas.
