As long as you feel like you want to improve, you should probably go for it. Bad equipment sure isnt great but no reason to give up early. Not having much time is probably the biggest issue, if you want to play in a league, you have to make sure that you atleast have free time consistently on a a specific day each week.
Matchmaking is only realy relevant if you are new to comp, otherwise just play lobbies/its alternatives.
And improving with different classes is pretty much just a matter of grinding. Pubs is the way to go in the early stages but playing against better players is allways helpful

I actually wanted to do this for a while, but i finally found the time to start uploading some Oddshots from TFTV to yt since i kinda wanted them to last longer than they would as an oddshot link (also oddshot takes some time to load)
idk maybe some of you guys enjoy these, i certainly will keep uploading. I still have some left from a few weeks ago and after that i try to do this more regulary with clips from recent matches.
