#16 Street Fighter 4 in Off Topic
MagikarpDrewYou guys make me want to throw $30 at this. I was considering it while it was on summer sale for $15 but I forgot. I'd be a keyboard warrior either way. No job to pay for a stick atm. How's the PC community? Big enough? Some people on tf2outpost are selling it for 4-5 keys, which is much cheaper the $30. I got mine during the sale for about 2-3 keys. Save that money man.

Holy shit thanks for the heads up. Keys got really expensive though wtf.

edit: managed to score a copy after throwing $2.50 on an extra key.

Devonit's called the zowie FK1 forsaken.

The FK got an updated 2014 revision. The FK1 is a separate, larger version of the FK'14.

If you have a good adjustable chair, then your desk height won't matter much unless it's unbelievably short.

#77 Why do you still play tf2? in TF2 General Discussion
m4risaIt's just about the only not dead fast-paced FPS, with an amazing community too.

I hope the arena shooter genre really makes a comeback with support from a AAA developer with experience developing competitive games. TF2 at its core, just isn't built for competitive play, and it makes me sad, because many of the mechanics are great, but the gap between public and competitive is so large.

One of these days someone will make an arena shooter that isn't just a Quake mod.

#9 Laptop recommendations for my mother. in Hardware
thrasherDrewA Chromebook is probably your best bet.
Chromebooks don't run on windows. If your mother isn't too computer savy she may not like the totally new experience of the chrome OS.

I literally just picked this up for my aunt yesterday

http://www.microcenter.com/product/421110/D550CA-MH31_156_Laptop_Computer_-_Black

If you have a microcenter near you I highly recommend this laptop. For $349 you get an i3, 4gb of ram and a 500gb hdd. You won't find specs like that every day in that price range.

If the mother already know how to browse the web then she already knows how to use Chrome OS because that's all you do. It not having Windows is actually one of Chromebook's bigger benefits.

Ben_Franklinflynn__Wait I couldn't see it today, apparently Daigo lost to Choi and fchamp and hes out, and Xian lost to snake eyez?Xian vs. Snake eyez: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=CvP0CHHQ8XY
Daigo vs. John Choi: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=WA9y69Zyi0E
both of these matches were insane

The 4-0 from John Choi might have been insane but the shoddy play from both of them was really disappointing and cringe-y even.

#29 Anyone have experience with U-Verse? in Off Topic

U-Verse is very stable in my experience mostly because their network is fiber until it hits your local node. The only bad thing about them is their routing isn't very great and connections are average at best. From Connecticut, I get ~65 ping to just Chicago servers and ~85 to Dallas. ~40 ping to New York servers and that's <2 hours away. Upload speeds are also limited because the connection from the local node to your home is through telephone lines essentially.
