RIP Vancouver Canucks, we suck at being good, and then when sucking actually matters, we suck at that too.
Cheering for the Jets all playoffs, they're a super fun to watch team, and even though he's not playing, I do love Toby Enstrom and would love to see some of the former thrashers vets get a cup like Bryan Little too, super under rated hard worker. I've also always appreciated Paul Stastny, and think it would be cool for him to win as well. That said, I think every team has an aging vet without a cup I'd be happy to see win one.
However, I'm super worried about them, New Jersey, and Boston's chances to go deep. Most teams that are led by young talent and first time playoff talent tend to have some degree of struggle before going deep. Thinking back to the first time the Kings made the playoffs with Doughty/Kopitar leading, and they struggled despite being a good team. First time playoff talent tends to have growing pain, and because of that I worry how deep those 3 teams go. Boston is at least powered by a very tenured core of Rask/Chara/Krejci/Bergeron/Marchand
