Everything looks impeccable so far, it will be nice to have a true analysis desk with a desk host to bounce feedback off of. EXtine's appearance will make the event's main voice less awkward and I'm sure many new players will recognize him from the top 10 plays, will he be doing the interviews btw? if not who is planned?. Sideshow and Bren co-operate amazingly well as casters and I think bren really comes into his own on LAN. I presume we have stage this year, will this mean that the finals will be much like that of i46 where the casters can't talk about spies and stuff with 0 delay? I'm sure the production is going to be amazing and hopefully beats last years numbers/quality.

clckwrkYes, my point is basically that there is no risk. Especially when you consider a group of foreigners have done it on multiple occasions without any issues. The parties never take place in the hotel room; it's strictly for sleeping. You'll have fun at the venue bar, maybe go get something to eat, then taxi back in the morning. The hotel staff isn't going to knock on your door and throw the lights on just to say "haha, gotcha!" at 3 in the morning. Just use the room for what its purpose is and try to get some sleep. No one will bother you.
I guess it just isn't reliable when you're trying to book a trip for 6 people, if it were a family holiday or any sort of business trip, you wouldn't wing it and say "eh my friend's hotel did x y and z so it will b fine", take what I'm saying with a grain of salt, but you can't presume anything. Besides, I'm pretty sure the tf2 scene would look more of a joke when word gets out about tf2 players being unable to play because they tried to stack a hotel, as opposed to trying to get surplus money in a fundraiser for the stability of the team.
Inb4 sil spends his $80 on manga and we have to get sideshow back
riotbzwould want to see the i55 video first
oh and the i52 one
Good luck
@editors
Emkay's work on the dreamhack video was excellent and I think it would really mark the milestone of this lan if we could get one out there, I realize it's a tough ask for iseries' but does anyone have any plans?
We hate to push, we play like a pug, you guessed it right, we're Crowns esports club
Me and chandos are staying in the birmingham castle bromwich hotel, a bus journey away from the lan

Who remembers when lego were floating between high and prem, how far we've come
DreamboattruktrukI'm not sure if this is 100% true. AFAIK Ronin is paying for the flights, the players will likely need to pay for room and board. That said, flights are not booked yet and no announcement has been made whether or not the players are going. I imagine they might be waiting for the season to end, but that is cutting it very close, especially if they need any funding.
It's super concerning that they haven't said anything, especially with Rando tweeting "RIP #DEADGAME", I'd be very concerned, and honestly at this point, would be shocked if they went. Hopefully he's trolling though and there's a good reason for the silence.
As of now that's speculation with no real body to it, could mean anything, could be trolling. I'm sure we will find out soon enough, but I'm sure this issue would have been raised weeks back if it was to do with finances, maybe rando's scared that he might have to fight phorofor LUL
Although the top players in every region has changed, and are postulated as "worse" by some people, I think this Lan is going to be really really amazing. I see new players already getting hyped about it in the community, not to mention mm's release aiding intrest, I think we will get healthy viewership and will be a sick event, see you there boyss
I sure hope we get these type of videos for future tf2 events, it always adds to the Post-LAN depression when there's no videos to highlight the frags, really good job emkay.
250 billion trillion?
People are insta-babyraging because it seems like I'm berating them, I respect their autonomy and ability to make developments in their career, I'm simply brainstorming about how this will affect tf2's production if their org takes off.
mathsadjust fyi there are more people involved in tftv production than just these dudes. (not to undermine their achievements, naturally) and these guys are still passionate about tf2 and working behind the scenes in tf2. don't take insight's existence as them giving up tf2 forever because that's not what it's about from what i understand.
People already putting words in my mouth, I'm not saying they're giving up or leaving us or saying fuck tf2, but you can;t ignore that if they've made that decision they are going to be committed to another game, I guess people can;t see it the way I see it and perhaps I'm pessimistic, and of course their are lots of people that work behind the scenes, but really most people on this list are not replaceable at this time in tf2's history, despite how much they deny that fact.
dashnerI've booked a flight and hotel for i58, and am yet again paying out of pocket to help make TF2's biggest LAN event of the year happen, as are many others.
Chill.
And it's your last one due to the monotony of valve's lack of support, by no means is that an attack on you, just scary shit man
