#469 How to Get to In-Game Comp Lobbies in TF2 General Discussion
ProwerDeathyThis sounds like good news. However, I do not think new competitive players will grow on their own if we just throw them in lobbies where everyone is new. It's probably just going to end up being a 9v9 pub with class limits. Maybe if we implanted a "Lobby Coaching System", basically people with competitive experience mentoring the new players, they could learn a lot and eventually join leagues like UGC, CEVO or even ESEA. But if Valve just throws pubbers in lobbies without any help/coaching, it's going to end up being a skial server with class limits.
I assume there will be some tier matchmaking system so that you aren't matched with people far from your skill level.

I'm not talking about the skill level. How can people that come from pub and play against pub players learn everything on their own? I'm talking about an help system with higher level players coaching lower level players (for instance, pub players).

#8 main calling in TF2 General Discussion

As a main caller, "splitting" the main calling is a good thing, well according to me. What I mean by that is that having your Pocket call too would be great, because he has a better view of the fight and that kind of stuff. As most people said, keep track of any kind of advantages/disadvantages (Player advantage, uber advantage, postioning advantage, etc.), and calling focuses is an important thing to do (better to have your Pocket do it imo). Also, calling when you pop the ubercharge can be important for your scouts, and also you need to call what kind of uber you're going to do (solo Pocket, demo + Pocket, double scout, etc.), and where you guys are going. On mid, always press tab and call ASAP to back up if your team is down numbers (except if you lost 2 scouts and they lost a demo, for exemple). If you do all that stuff, you're an awesome main caller.

Looks sick, and the fact that you can choose different versions is really a plus. I'll give it a try!

#3 Looking for Scout and Backups (Open) in Recruitment (looking for team)

These guys are pretty cool, they're really willing to get better and are a decent team in general. They deserve a solid scout, and if they do get one, they will be a team to fear.
