#2 TF2 Poor FPS GTX 970 & i7 3770k w/ fps config in Customization

Have you tried opting out of the steam beta and trying the default settings?

This is the thread about the default settings, not sure where the steam beta one is http://www.teamfortress.tv/30651/boost-fps-with-this-one-simple-trick/

#56 Highlander article missing in Site Discussion
kKaltUuAnd so is the entire Highlander scene, but it starts to look like you´re trying to make this just about 6s instead of both big game modes.

Which feels like a bit of a slap in the face of the volunteers that spend a lot of time and money into HL. You surely have to be able to relate to that.

I know a lot of money and volunteer work goes into highlander, I've seen how much work Jon does with Blackout. I was just replying to the idea that tsc must be getting something for doing a lot of writing.

#54 Highlander article missing in Site Discussion
crossfirebrooky12crossfirei still think tftv should have a section of the site (not the official "news" section) to host community written articles and opinion pieces. tftv wouldn't pay these writers but give their content more exposure than just a regular thread string.
TFTV doesn't pay anyone, not sure why that's a distinction in your post
surely tsc must be receiving something in return for doing 80% of the current front page articles...

but you're right, pay or no pay, it doesn't really matter.

lol everyone who is involved in tftv has sunk lots of money into this thing with no expectation of any compensation for our time. The only money anyone can expect to get is whatever might be "left over" at the end of a fundraiser for a team to help recoup the thousands we might spend travelling to get to LANs, though more often than not we put that money into better production value rather than covering our own expenses. Our recruitment posts very clearly state there is no financial incentive at all. Everything you see is entirely volunteer run.

#13 2015: Year In Review in News

Some numbers:
We started the year at about 17,000 followers on twitch, not sure on the exact number. We're now just shy of 35,000.
We used to get around 2-300 viewers for a big game, now we get that for any old game and we've seen over 1,000 for multiple regular season games, averaging around 5-600.
We also casted every ETF2L premiership official in 2015 as well as a lot of cups like Gimmicks, Guts and Glory and The Challengers Cup.

#8 stream list size in Site Discussion

As far as I'm aware, the TF.TV list comes from the teamfortress.tv twitch team and is sorted into TF2 streams and then non-TF2 streams. Don't know why some people on the twitch team (you can see who is online from the team here http://www.teamfortress.tv/streams) aren't being shown in the list but we're aware of it, just waiting on word from enigma.

RainmanDavidTheWinZalman mic http://www.amazon.co.uk/Zalman-ZM-MIC1-ZMMIC1-Lapel-Microphone/dp/B00029MTMQ
Spend the rest on the best reviewed pair of earbuds you can get, for ~£20 Sony has some really good options.

I have this mic but it doesn't work very well. There seems to be static all the time. This has been the case with past mics too. Perhaps it's my sound card?

Yeah that's likely on your end. I've heard this mic perform well enough before without static. That said, it is only an £8 microphone.
