You can get a lot of free shit from donations. I have like 4 buds that I don't use and would be happy to donate every once in a while to these friday night tournys. And I think a lot of others in the community have extra pixels lying around. I think the prizes should be whatever donations you get split to the top 3 teams.
An entry fee would discourage a lot of lower level teams, who will just not play because they're essentially just going to lose valuable pixels. I think real money would make a lot of teams/players inaccessible to playing because they don't have paypal or credit cards.
