if you're using an explosion script and wish to keep it while using vtf crosshairs:
drifta
the vtf crosshairs use the same files as the explosion script
you need to go into each explosion script file and locate this part:"crosshair" { "file" "vgui/replay/thumbnails/crosshairs" "x" "0" "y" "0" "width" "64" "height" "64" }
change the "vgui/replay/thumbnails/crosshairs" to whichever vtf crosshair you want, e.g seeker

I don't think it's possible to not break earbuds
so basically when they added cosmetics it reduced the games performance so they removed a bunch of animations and lighting to compensate but it didn't really work
