the best thing we can do is raise awareness and promote 6s to the casual community so that we pick up likeminded people. the guys who enjoy playing friendly sandvich heavy on ctf_turbine will not play competitive even if we made spy viable fulltime.
we'll get a lot further by just making a fun gamemode for some people than trying to appeal to everyone.

They've proven time and time again with every single update that they have no idea how the game should be balanced or what changes people actually want. We should be trying to grow our scene, but ruining it with ridiculous unlocks is not the way to do it.
Really don't get the new approach to the whitelists in the last few years. There was nothing wrong with how we used to play tf2.

I'd appreciate feedback and a fix to why it turned blue during transitions.
Using a fast song like that can work very very well but you need to make sure you use smooths and syncing to make it feel good to watch and also make sure the viewer can see what is going on. Would also help to use casting essentials and render in at least 1080p60. Raise the game audio, sniper clips work better with loud game audio.
Also super secret tip, if you desync the audio by -10 frames in an stv demo the sniper shot sound will play as the rifle is shot rather than slightly afterwards. Makes it feel 10x better.
Don't know what the blue transition is. That along with the low res and quality makes me think you accidentally rendered some kind of preview rather than actually exporting?

The season 28 video will be out soon. I had some vegas issues that caused it to be delayed but tings appear to be working again. I didn't make a democall this season, so any frags you get from people outside of prem will be exclusive to you.
Some people care a lot about being the only ones to showcase certain frags. I don't. If you feel like using prem etf2l s28 frags I won't mind at all. The only thing that will ever piss me off is when I share ticks with someone and they don't credit me in the video.

bearodactylafaik even if you lock viewmodels by doing alias r_drawviewmodel "" and alias viewmodel_fov "" the demo will still turn viewmodels on and off when the person hit their bind in the game, i remember trying to troubleshoot this a while ago and having no luck

Just a quick thing, STVs are much easier for me to work with at the moment since POV demos have been causing some problems recently. If you have the STV demos of clips they would be easier for me to use than your POVs.
gemmare you also locking viewmodel_fov? the console may show when settings like that are changed so you could check in there to see if you can spot anything when they get toggled
i'd recommend lawena which has a bunch of configs for locking stuff/setting framerate already if it works with your workflow
i'm using lawena, doesn't lock it.
sorry to bump this but none of these fixes work. people's binds still turn viewmodels on and off in the demo even if i 'lock' the command.

e: to answer your question gemm, frags must be from 6s games. I'd prefer not to have lobby frags but they're alright sometimes. No ulti/bball/highlander/whatever
