I also tried setting it to update once a month yet everytime I restart my computer it seems to update itself. Very annoying.Turn off auto windows updates: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows-vista/turn-automatic-updating-on-or-off

I read through the comments of the recent article and only one person offered any actual useful information.
I think people gave up trying to give him useful information 2 seasons ago, if you want to look for productive posts go back to season 11/12.
