In total we have 10 spots up for grabs. The teams signing up will be split into 2 groups of 5 and will play against each other in Best of One matches. From the open groups 2 teams will move on to the playoffs stage, but they will start in the lower bracket.
Sign-up fee for open teams is 150 SEK (±€15) per player. Sign-ups will open 18th of September at 23:59 and all fees need to be paid before the team is accepted.

Does this mean that 8/14 teams will only play 4 maps? Also I'm guessing those 4 maps take place on the friday?

HenyI assume there will be some questions about the format and some have already been posted here so I thought I'd address them and hopefully some potential future questions.

When looking at the format we've tried to let people play as many matches as possible while still maintaining a level of production value for the viewers. This however was made harder due to limited logistics at the venue, we're only able to run 3 matches at the same time.

Are the limited logistics a limited amount of pcs? If so, is there any way we can warm up for games with dm/mge etc?

HenyThus for example 8 teams double elimination would simply not be possible, it would take too much time to complete the first 2 rounds. The alternative would've been to run more of a Dreamhack style tournament, maybe without open sign-ups and only invited teams but to some extent we want to show that competitive TF2 is based around the community and letting people come and play via open sign-ups is probably the best way to do so.

This is also why we decided to call it a "community rumble", the idea is that you attend the event, you play some TF2, you watch some TF2 but you're also able to take part of the other things at the venue such as gaming on consoles, a skate park, sumo wrestling and other things together with the TF2 community.

If the 4 invite teams only fight over their seedings on the first day, is it not possible to make those games best of ones and let in 2 extra teams from the open bracket to the signups, or maybe make the open games bo2 as well. My reasoning is that the invite teams will still all be in the upper bracket in the playoff stage and open teams literally fighting to be able to keep playing.

Was just something I wanted to know =)

I agree entirely with bloodis about snipers. I've also changed my mind and think random spawns are better now.

With this said I feel like demo is very weak compared to the other classes and you're often just a walking HP kit.
How about potentially adding 1 or 2 stickies in the clip but reducing their damage? Or maybe it's good that people focus demo so he gets more efficient use of his time (by constantly having something to shoot at). But it's fine either way I think

BUG FIX:
- Fixed being able to leave the map
- Fixed two spots where you were able to stand on rooves
- Fixed a spot where you could stand in the middle of nothing
- Fixed a couple of graphical errors
- Hopefully fixed the HUD issues(?) (The settings were on default in hammer editor but I think my custom HUD might have something to do with it…)
