people ignore papasmurf/tehoreoz(2c)/turts/twitchjohn when they try to counter the "malware" argument.
no one that I know of has quit esea this season because of the "malware" client (aside from the 2 players who got banned)
european and non esea players seem to be the loudest ones in this whole argument aside from the invite lan supporters.

Not really. If you don't respond to a match proposal then you forfeit. 90% of the games this season have been forfeits though so it does look pretty bad.
Also not every team is going to switch to CEVO. So all this is going to do is split the community. GG.
Not really, I can see a number of teams - mine included - that will multi-league next season.
Its almost impossible to make time for it if you want to be "multi-league". I asked teams to join CEVO this current season and none of them wanted to add another match to their schedule.
BenkPretty easy solution. If you're on a team, get your team to switch to cevo.

My team is in cevo lol. It has not been anywhere close to the enjoyment of playing esea.

thrasherAloSecdingoi really like complaining when someone is better than meits funny because you were on a main team at the start of the season and now you're in open lol
I kinda blame ESEA for that. They really didnt do the best job when they added main. Normally you have to follow a certain procedure to move teams up. When it was only 3 divisions the rules were pretty strict, but with the creation of a brand new (higher level) division they really shoulda hand picked the teams for the first season. They grabbed a bunch of open teams who didnt do so well and put them 1 step below invite. These teams are dying and main is suffering because of it. Hopefully that won't be the case next season, but ESEA really dropped the ball here.
Street Hoops is currently 8-1 in Main as an open moveup. Syndrome of a Down is a decent middle of the pack team and the Italian Stallions would have been doing well if not for roster issues.
The only open move-up that doesn't belong is Animus Victoria.

Just play on Valve servers. You can search for them in the server browser by entering Valve as a tag. No ads and no stupid server plugins/mods. It's not worth it to try and find the perfect PUB when you can just pull up a Valve server that's playing your favourite map.
