#1 NOTICE: To all CEVO-P Teams/Players in TF2 General Discussion

As of this moment, many matches remain unreported, with no check-ins and are ultimately subject to forfeit losses on our end.

This is a public notice to you all, since my private messages in the matchcomms were obviously not taken seriously from previous warnings of the need to check-in and report scores, that we will DEACTIVATE your teams and therefore forfeit you out of our LAN playoffs if the remaining matches are not played within the next 2 weeks, (October 1st deadline).

I must stress the fact regardless if you use a CEVO provided server or not...the anticheat client and check-ins are a REQUIREMENT listed in our rules. Failure to use this system will result in all disputes being filed null and void, even if blatant cheating takes place, and match score reports ignored. Again, if you fail to field the required number of players to check-in, you cannot manually report scores in our system, and we will ultimately refuse such as well if requested. It is both teams responsibility to ensure the players are in the client are the ones playing (when using a non-CEVO server) and that both teams field the players to report the match afterwards.

At this time and ONLY this time going into the future, I will extend ALL matches left in our system for CEVO-P and issue a deadline of October 1st @ midnight as stated. After this date, no results can be posted and all unreported matches will be issued forfeits where see fit.

This should not have had to come to this, but your own laziness in following the rules of the league created this scenario and we refuse to let this affect the rest of the players and the season itself hostage.

GET THEM DONE

Thank you

#20 TF2 Update: 8/21/14 in TF2 General Discussion

FYI this likely will break our mod until a Sourcemod update is pushed and we can confirm with Lange on the issue.

Will hopefully have this all situated soon.

#451 GXL LAN Fall 2014 in News

Just a friendly reminder gentlemen (and ladies) that registration is open for the tournament to help establish teams/rosters before the event. The actual client itself is not enabled or being used for the Saturday tournament, as some have mentioned even with registration on and through the CEVO site.

This is sorta a new way to help manage tournaments outside the typical "Challonge" brackets which are limited in features and will be part of your permanent player history on your profiles.

Since the Saturday event is limited currently to the first 16 open teams to signup and pay, it would be wise to secure your entries with such a large amount of players and teams already signed up to attend.

Any questions or concerns let me or Fragile know.

Thank you guys so much and we appreciate the tremendous support and following the TF2 community is bringing to CEVO and the GXL.

They are still required to buy-in to the Saturday tournament no matter what...as a team or as a player for another team/pug

#374 GXL LAN Fall 2014 in News

The CEVO-P teams do not need to be forced to stay together for the GXL tournament...they simply have a reserved spot in the 20 slots available until we can determine which 4 CEVO-P teams are making it to the lan in early September...after that they will need to decide whether or not to participate in the buy-in as a whole team, or split up and pug with others or not at all if they so choose.

#15 CEVO Spring Classic in News

For any teams that are planning to start CEVO this season and want to get a Main spot...this is how you will do it, we will likely not take applications into the division and strictly base moveups on promo/placement events such as this and previous season results.

#17 CEVO Season 4 Playoff News in TF2 General Discussion

This is a STERN reminder...as we have multiple teams not abiding by the newspost guidelines

"For the most part, the match scheduling process will remain the same as the regular season, but match extensions beyond the deadline date listed on the brackets will not be permitted."

Due to several teams ignoring this we are already behind schedule in several areas of the Open bracket thus delaying Season 5 as well, beyond this point in time, we will issue forfeits where see fit, so make default day/time available for your teams

Thank you
