if you are just starting out just keep adding a little distance on every run and your earlier runs will seem less like death. personally i found after a couple times doing 10k, doing the 1/2 marathon wasn't any more difficult, just meant adjusting pace to allow for recovery.

or do HIIT and every run will feel like death but you'll progress nicely.

there were like 80+ newbies who wanted coaching in this mumble and as far as i could tell only 2 people coaching a team at a time. if any of you have the time to spare and want to do something for the community i recommend you get involved with this initiative!
