well I was referring to the infrastructure to actually bring the comms to the cast. Of course its the teams decision at the end of the day whether they allow us to use it. Which you are a little bitch about ipz :P

I have always been of the understanding that TFTV has a huge american following hence the difference in viewing figures. Due their loyalty to TFTV.

Please don't misconstrue my ramblings as a bash on TFTV, I was just pointing out the obvious holes in people's hate statements against VTV. It fuels the fire of a beef between the 2 orgs which in my mind doesn't even exist.

When I watch a game and both orgs are casting it, I will happily have both open to support the TF2 scene. Plus I have huge respect for Pledge's casting ability, the guy is smooth as fuck. I just think sometimes his ego gets in the way of actually helping TF2 :P sorry Pledge I still wish you were coming to i49 mate.

And all this needless hatred towards Mia confuses me. She is knew to casting, do you think people are born with the confidence to cast perfectly right off the bat. No it takes practice and knowledge these things come with time.

VTV has more casters, more streamers and the biggest TF2 Lan to date. TFTVEU relies on VTV for STV relays and team comms on mumble. TFTV-eu has 1 reliable caster and borrows streamers from other orgs most of the time. If one of our casters goes on holiday, there are 5 others ready to jump in. If Pledge goes on holiday you can wave goodbye to your coverage.

So why dont you give VTV a break, everyone here is for the betterment of TF2 we dont want money or twitter followers (apart from Haydn he loves that shit). I think they deserve a little more respect for the work that they put into this community.

VTV have been very open to casters from other orgs coming in and casting at i49, they didn't have to be. But they know its what the community want, we offered it to pledge but I am guessing it wasn't enough for him. We have Sal and Lange helping out on site which is awesome. I would personally love Adz to come up and give us a cast or 2. At the end of the day VTV won the gig so they are fully within their rights to put their 2 caster choices up on the finals stage.

This may be a slighty bias post considering I am involved with VTV, but it just pisses me off when people spout off mindless shit about things they really know little about.

I have tried on my main PC my spare PC and my laptop all dont work. This means its most likely not a hardware issue. Possibly a windows update that caused it? or a windows version? I really dont know.

I am running windows 7 professional, fully updated

This happens with all demos, if you have the problem. I recorded a short demo, smoothed it, no _smooth demo was created. I then uploaded the demo sent it to huhy and he could smooth it no problem.

It is a user specific problem. out of interest did people with the problem convert their TF2 and people without the problem redownload it from new? I converted, dont know if its relevant. P-rec is not anything to do with it imo.

this is all i know and it fucking sucks, i was actually gonna make some clips and stuff but failed at the 1st hurdle :(
