The High-End desktop + Chromebook combination sounds pretty attractive right about now. At this point I'm only debating between whether or not to even take a small little netbook with me.
This is so strange, because so many people I've know say that they use their laptops extensively outside of their dorms. For those that do end up taking laptops, what do you generally use them for?
You can use your laptop when travelling, watching movies, and playing platform games or whatever.
Speaking from experience.

Back in pubbing days, I get a random invite from someone on a surf server, I accept the request.
he doesnt respond when I say hi so I didn't bother.
Next day, well actually two days later
It's 2AM and I get a random steam call, it is this guy, I pick up, and you have no idea what noise came out of that 8 year old kid with a fucking sonic avatar, he just starts screaming if he can have one of my hats so I just hang up, one week passes and he keeps inviting me to his game, over and over, I removed him because it was annoying but I actually felt sorry for the kid haha

boppetCan bots even wear someone else's hat's without a server plugin? Even if they can, what's the actual point of doing so?
to steal ur unusual, he doesnt tell the bots dont copy the hat of leaving players but it actually steals it from them, next level scamming.

5000 tf2 servers? Only 2 people of this "team" using steam which only played tf2 for one year (and worked on this for years)
tf2center most of the time has 300-600 people on the site. If this thing gets real(excluding the probable scam) that means there would be more servers than there are overall people playing.
that is entirely depended on how the service will play out, I mean tf2 center atm isn't played by pubbers and actually higher division players, only the people in between and that is only a small percentage of the players
