Agree - nothing was more amazing to me than the first time Mixup used this at LAN after winning a mid on Viaduct, right after the new taunts came out

turtsmcgurtssteam in admin mode typically fixes it for me.
AmirBonkTry to close everything except steam. Make sure in the game's properties that overlay is enabled

Steam Overlay not working in some games

I started to noticed this when I started to play Borderlands 2, The steam notification never showed up on the title screen. I tried this on another game, Mirror's Edge, and still nothing showed up. However when I played GTA IV, steam overlay started to work. And It works with TF2 as well.
Any idea how to fix this?
PS: I already check my Firewall and everything seems to be unblocked. And nothing is running in the background except for Skype/Chrome. and Windows Media Player.

I've been dealing with this for weeks now and it's starting to poke my nerves. One day my mouse DPI will Low and the other day my mouse DPI will be high. Anyone knows how to fix this?
