You have 150 ping to the older one (CHI4). The new one is confusingly called CHI1.

RahmedArie ... this triggers a message with their ban reason.
Can we have donator perks where we can customise the text when we join servers, regardless of ban or not?

In a strong field, pay-to-hide-your-cheating-ban is one of your worst ideas.

Some updates since last time.

  • Added server side anti-cheat to all servers. Select AC admins have access to the logs of this tool for their investigations.
  • For EU and NA servers, when an ETF2L or RGL banned player joins a server, this triggers a message with their ban reason.
  • Reshuffle of NA servers. Getting rid of 20 Kansas servers and the 6 Chicago/Obama servers since that machine was starting to die and overheat. Replacing those with 30 Chicago based servers instead on a fancy dual 10-core server.

It's an issue with the "GAME" anti-DDoS on OVH hosted machines. For EU serveme.tf that means ElzasBrigade and MonikaBrigade, and for au.serveme.tf all the ozfortress bookables.
Because it's been rather quiet on the DDoS front this year, I wouldn't be against disabling it for a while. This wouldn't disable all anti-DDoS measures, just some stuff that tries to ensure any traffic on the servers is related to TF2.

#2 Ping in out of region games. in Q/A Help

For serveme SEA (OVH Singapore), your ISP, which is also my ISP, routes through Los Angeles for the return journey. This leads to a ~300ms scoreboard ping.
With SDR, this drops to 195ms for me.

For serveme AU (OVH Sydney), again it gets routed through LA, both directions this time. 330ms scoreboard ping.
With SDR, this drops to 284ms for me.
